For those of you that don't know me, I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I have been called to be the First Counselor in the Young Women organization in my ward. I serve young women ages 12 - 18. Some of my responsibilities include, teaching, camping with them, and planning and attending weekly activities. There are SO many others things I do, too many to name really. I am busy, busy, busy, but I love, love, love it! The Young Women I serve are stellar and totally and completely adorable! I was asked by the president of the young woman to put together a birthday present for each of them. For me, this is no easy task. I never have been, nor will I ever be good at buying gifts for others. I always want to buy people gifts, something they will enjoy, but fail miserably quite a bit. Some people are good at gift buying, I AM NOT. So, I proceeded to obsess over ideas. I checked Pinterest, Blogs, and other websites and still couldn't find the right thing. Finally, at a weekly activity, we were at our President's house playing board games. We all had our shoes off and I couldn't help but notice their feet. They all had the craziest socks on. Mismatched, bright, fun socks! My mind was made up. An inexpensive, meaningful, perfect gift for them would be a pair of polka-dot socks.
But not only would I give them socks, I would give them a spiritual reminder of some important counsel.

Or, Depend On the Savior and a cute poem to go with it.
I wrapped it up cute, attached the poem and VOILA! A-dorable.
I have included a link for you to download this printable if you would like to use it! Enjoy!
